If you struggle to learn a new language, it can be helpful to know that some languages may be easier for you to to learn than others. Here are a few:

Spanish

This is a phonetic language with fewer irregularities than others which makes learning it easier. Spanish can also be easier to learn and practice for English speakers in the United States because of the influence of hispanic culture in the country.

Italian

Another phonetic language with 70 to 125 million speakers worldwide, this language has fewer irregular verbs than French and Spanish. Italian grammar is very similar to other languages of Latin origin so if you already speak Spanish or French picking up this language will be easier. Italian contains many words that you may already know like espresso and pasta.

French

Learning French is easier if you already speak English because so many French words have been adopted by English speakers. French is spoken by more than 100 million people in many countries around the world including France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Haiti, Vanuatu, and 26 African countries.

Swahili

This language is considered the 2nd most spoken language in Africa, after Arabic. It does not contain verbal conjugations and prefixes are used to refer to subjects and times and verbs.
