Synonyms are words which share meaning with other words in the same language, for example shut and close. Antonyms are words that mean the exact opposite in the same language, for example good and bad.


 

✅ Here are some more examples of synonyms using verbs and adjectives:

to buy / to purchase              hard / difficult

to make / to create                bland / insipid            

to grow / to develop              shiny / glossy

to start / to begin                  expensive / costly 

 

✅ Here are some more examples of antonyms using verbs and adjectives:
