How To Use "Will" When Talking About Future Events

Do you know how to use will?

 

We use 'will' to form sentences about immediate decisions made at the moment.

 

✅ Affirmative phrases:

We use will + infinitive verb

Examples:

- I will get some coffee in the kitchen.

- We will attend the festival.

✅ Negative phrases:

We use will not (won’t) + infinitive verb 

Examples:

- We will not pay this fee. This is an injustice!

- Rachel will not come to the meeting.

✅ Questions:

We use will not + infinitive verb

Examples:

- Will she work tomorrow?

- Will you ring him?
