“In My Opinion….” - Learn To Politely Agree And Disagree With Opinions in English

In today's lesson you will learn phrases that help you express your opinion. You will expand your vocabulary and feel confident talking about any topic, whether you agree or disagree. Here they are:


 

✅ Expressing opinion:

 

- I think...

- I guess...

- What I mean is...

- I suppose...

- I believe...

- The way I see it...

- I feel...

- From my perspective...

- In my opinion...

- In my view...

- I’d like to point out that...

- My impression is that...

- Personally, I think...

- I’m of the opinion that...

- It seems to me that…



 

✅ Expressing agreement:

 

- I agree...

- That’s true...

- You took the words right out of my mouth…

- I think so...

- Definitely...

- I suppose so…

- I totally agree...

- Well, I agree with you here...

- You have my full agreement...

- Precisely...

- Yes of course!

- That is right!


 

✅ Expressing disagreement:

 

- I see your point, but...

- I don’t think so...

- That’s out of question...

- Not necessarily...

- I’m afraid, I disagree...

- I still have my doubts...

- That’s not always true...

- I agree up to a point, but...

- You could say that, however...

- I find that very difficult to accept...

- I'm sorry to disagree with you, but...
