Soup and Soap are similar sounding words with completely different meanings. Confusing them can lead to some funny situations. Here are their meanings:

 

✅ Soup is a dish served with hot broth.

 

Examples:

- We will have vegetable soup for dinner.

- Oh no! My soup is not hot.


 

✅ Soap is a substance used for cleaning.

 

Examples:

- You should wash your hands with soap.

- I bought a soap for sensitive skin.
