1 dec. 2020 / Engels / 1 minuten gelezen

Although the words "song" and "music" are both related to listening to a melody, they have different uses. And since we use these words very often, it is important to know how to use them correctly.

✅ Song

A countable noun (plural = songs), used to talk about a specific piece of music.

Examples:

- I think that this song by the Beatles is amazing.

- What is your favorite song?

✅ Music

An uncountable noun we use to talk about music in general or about a musical style.

Examples:

- I love listening to music on my way to work.

- His favorite type of music is jazz.
