Do you know the meaning of ‘story’ and ‘store’? Learn the difference in today's lesson.

 

✅ Story (noun, plural - stories)

A narrative that describes events.

 

Examples:

- The film is about a love story.

- The kid loves bedtime stories.

 

In fact, “story” is also the name given to the short videos that Instagram users post on their accounts.


 

✅ Store (noun, plural = stores)

A shop.

 

Examples:

- A department store, a grocery store, a clothing store and a toy store.


 

✅ To store (as a verb)

To keep something in a place for future use.

 

Examples:

- We have a place to store these supplies.

- I need to store these files on a pen drive.
