How To Correctly Structure English Sentences
How To Correctly Structure English Sentences
2021年11月14日 / 英语 / 1 分钟阅读

➡ Sentences are about something or someone, called the subject.

➡ The predicate contains information about the subject.

➡ The simple subject is the main word in the subject, and the simple predicate is the main word in the predicate. The simple subject is always a noun or pronoun and the simple predicate is always a verb.

➡ The object in a sentence is involved in an action but does not carry it out, the object comes after the verb. Objects can be direct or indirect.

➡ A direct object refers to a person or thing affected by the action of the verb.

➡ An indirect object refers to a person or thing who receives the direct object
