Boost your English with these phrasal verbs with "get":

 

✅ get down - separable (always) - to make someone unhappy.

Ex: Cold winter weather really gets me down.

 

✅ get down to - inseparable (with object) - to become serious and start something.

Ex: Now that lunch is over it’s time to get down to work

 

✅ get in - inseparable (no object) - to arrive.

Ex: Our flight gets in at 5:00 pm.
