✅ to die + of (something)

He died of pneumonia last month.

 

✅ to dream + about (something/someone)

I dreamed about being on a perfect, white beach last night. 

 

✅ to explain + to (someone)

I already explained the problem to Leslie. Didn’t she tell you?

 

✅ to forget + about (something/someone)

I completely forgot about our dinner plans. I’m so sorry.

 

✅ to focus/to be focused + on (something)

I’ll call you back in five minutes. I’m really focused on the football game right now.

 

✅ to introduce/to be introduced + to (someone)

I’d like to introduce you to Luiza.

 

✅ to lend + to (someone)

I lent $300 to Lindsay last month. When she pays me back I’ll be able to buy a new phone.

 

✅ to look + at (something/someone)

What are you looking at?

 

✅ to listen + to (something/someone)

I’m listening to James Taylor.

 

✅ to look forward + to (something)

We’re really looking forward to going to the cottage this weekend.
